Drone racing is a high speed competitive race, in which the racers use self-built drones to race with other competitors. This event takes place in two stages; where in the first stage is the assembly round and the second stage is the racing round.
The quad copters can be designed to a maximum dimension of 600mm x 600mm x 600mm.
There is no restriction on materials used for designing the Quadcopter.
Teams can be formed with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members.
Only electrical motors are allowed and max 4s LiPo battery is allowed.
Each team must have its own model and must not exchange with other teams.
Teams must bring their own soldering kits and related tools and equipments.
Teams are recommended to have cameras on their copter and must project the output on a HD monitor provided by the organizing committee
Teams with cameras and displaying theri o/p will help the teams to earn bonus pts.
It is not mandatory for the teams to have Cameras for the open Challenge
Teams must participate in assembling round.
Special prizes will be awarded to quick assembling team.
RTF and readymade kits are not allowed.
